Onco Pharmacology Unit
What do you do in the Pharmacology Unit?
I am responsible for establishing and optimizing assays for the selection of candidate antibodies. I also perform high-throughput screening to assess the function of our in-house antibodies so that we can identify the best candidate with superior characteristics.
What do you like most about working in the lab?
I am involved in every step of creating antibody drugs, giving me an insider’s perspective of how research happens from start to finish. The exposure in the lab has helped me to develop my expertise and hone my problem-solving skills. This has been instrumental in enhancing my scientific and technical credentials.
How are you growing professionally in CPR?
I am constantly learning. Research is a very dynamic field and there are always fresh insights, new technologies and methodologies to keep updated on. I am expanding my horizons and gaining experience all the time.
What do you do to relax and unwind after a long day?
I like to have a good meal, spend time with my family and watch TV to relax.
What do you like most about CPR?
What I find most gratifying about working at CPR are the positive working relationships I share with my colleagues, well as the supportive working environment we foster together.
